Trivial But Tasty
I’ve discovered my favorite kind of apple. Harris Teeter had free samples of them recently, and as a result of their surprising tastiness, I brought home a couple.
Identity? They are called Jazz Apples. There is even a website dedicated to their existence.
Immediately upon bringing them home I realized the coloring looked exactly like the glass apple jar my mom has always kept in our kitchen display. Remarkable isn’t it?
If I had to describe them: satisfyingly crunchy and crisp, sweet but not sickeningly so, and happy like a warm, sunny, healthy day. Yes, they taste happy.
Go get yourself one.
What is your favorite kind of apple?
Fuji apples, I love them. However, I will be giving jazz apples a try for sure, they surely must have a happy taste with such a happy name!
