What is Inky Orchard?

Inky Orchard is the spilled beans belonging to a designer, writer, photographer, collector, lover of Jesus, adventurer, and generally creative person named Rachel Self. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2012, and I am happily employed in the Nashville area. I don’t know how you found me and my Internet guts, but please introduce yourself and shoot me an email. I’d love to hear from you!

My Interests

A few from the Jenga-esque stack that makes up my innards: letters, typewriters, honesty, old things, reading kid’s books, collections, rocks, board games, cereal, writing, reading, napping, cuddly cats, happy homey dogs, living spaces, light, mornings, mountains, good conversation, poetry, music, baking, playing/imagining/creating, and being myself.

Currently…

Eating: Chocolate covered almonds. All day e’ry day.

Listening: Vince Guaraldi Christmas tunes

Reading: Anne of Green Gables

Playing: Telephone Pictionary. Don’t know what it is? The best thing ever.
