I had no idea I could paint in watercolor. Just getting to the point mentally where I could put a stroke down on that $17.50 piece of watercolor paper (Arches, 300 lb, cold press)… it was so difficult. Today I passed an open magazine in the vacant (well, sometimes) lot on the way back from my daily missions. On one page was an x-ray of a human hand. On the facing page was a butterfly.
Poetry. The beauty in death. The death in beauty. Kinda like “to live is Christ” and “do not love the world.”
Onward! I have so many images! Just yesterday I acquired a horrid cramp in my neck from editing over 400 images in Photoshop. Can’t wait to show you the final product. But this is my friend Melissa. I think she is the most beautiful person in the world. In a 100% nontypical way. (This is just a teaser. The rest of the series makes me laugh so much.)
If you did not know, this weekend I shot my first wedding! It went very well, and I really enjoyed working with the couple and their families. Robert Sweeney Jersey They were all such sweet people. Very draining day, but so worth it.
Yay! That is just a sampling. The new record for most pictures taken in one day (specifically, around six hours) is: 1400. I have pulled about 15 images that I feel are strong enough to represent my wedding photography work – I am planning on reworking my website over break and (finally) designing my own business cards.
I go home in almost one week! Christmas presents, here I come! (Making them. You know that is what I meant. Smith Orogbo Texas Jersey Jayson Oweh Jersey You know it.) But first: work.
