I was never that girl who came to school with a cute new haircut that everyone adored and lavished compliments on. This is big stuff for a quiet girl with few friends and a confidence that is trying to grow and naturalize itself… but right now that confidence seems to waddle around, awkwardly looking at the ground, occasionally skipping a few paces in the sunshine.
